Social Work Self Care Through Evidenced Based Clinical EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques)

We are social workers with huge hearts and a deep desire to be of service to our clients and communities in meaningful ways. We are also STRESSED and OVERWHELMED and UNDER-RESOURCED. We are experiencing our own stress and trauma from the past and present, while simultaneously holding and processing the stress and trauma of our clients. It’s A LOT!

Join us as we come together to validate the stress of being a social worker in 2024 and learn why Alyson Halas, LCSW refers to EFT as the single most effective tool in taking care of the therapist and client simultaneously when it comes to working with stress and trauma. In this highly experiential workshop, you will be given the opportunity to learn about Evidenced Based Clinical EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) by applying these techniques to yourself. Alyson will guide you through calming your own physiological stress response and together with EFT and each other we will begin to identify and process the unique stressors that social workers face.
