I have been a clinical social worker since 1987, and earned my MSW from New York University. Over the course of my career, I have worked in a variety of clinical, educational, medical, and community settings. I have maintained a private practice since 2012.
In addition to providing psychotherapy, I have held supervisory roles in educational and community-based programs, supervised staff, and participated in peer to peer consultation throughout my career.I have completed advanced training in clinical supervision, and offer supervision to social workers seeking licensure, professional growth, or clinical consultation.
My approach to supervision emphasizes thoughtful case discussion, ethical practice, sound clinical judgement, and the development of each clinician's professional identity.
Describe your current practice:
I am a licensed clinical social worker in private practice, providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families. My practice focuses on relationship issues, life transitions, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, parenting, and trauma. In addition to therapy, I provide child-centered co-parenting services, and have training in divorce mediation, collaborative divorce, and co-parenting coordination and facilitation.
