Professionally, I have worked in medical social work, psychiatric, social work, school social work, and the criminal justice system. This vast experience lends itself to inform me of the various systems clients may be involved with but also has provided me with vast and varied experiences with which to provide direct knowledge when supporting developing social workers. I am passionate about the social work profession and the endless possibility the skill set allows the professional social worker to shift positions across their lifespan yet still remain in a position of making a positive impact in their professional practice. LCSW achieved in 2000 and consistently a member of NASW Connecticut. Registered Play Therapy certification earned in 2019. Regular and requisite continuing education earned annually. Have provided supervision to both MSW students in field as well as LMSW level colleagues working towards licensure. Maintain records consistent with those required by the State of Connecticut. Provide safe and confidential space for discussion, feedback and case consultation.
