Coping with Difficult People, Including Yourself

Why are some people more difficult to be with than others? With or without words, they trigger a range of unpleasant feelings.  Whey are we difficult to ourselves?  This presentation will explore techniques clinical social workers can apply to help clients identify their difficult people and the range of responses available.  After participating, attendees will have a greater understanding of:

What's difficult about difficult people.
How to help clients identify the difficult people in thier lives.
Ways to increase a client's sense of feeling in control when challenged by others.
Use of supportive self-talk.
Sustaining clients' success.

$10.00 for Members, $25.00 for Not-Yet-Members, Free to attend without CECs.
